How it works

  1. Add your pattern

    Open a PDF from Files, Mail or Safari, write a pattern, draw a chart, or start with just counters.

  2. Put the bar on your row

    Drag the bar to the row you’re on and set your counters: rows or rounds, a repeat, an alert for the next decrease.

  3. Tap +1 as you go

    Each tap moves the count and the bar. Put the work down for a week and the bar is still on your row.

Your place is saved.

Private by design

Row & Round has no account, no tracking, no ads and no analytics. Your patterns, counts and notes stay on your device, and the app opens only the files you add. It never uploads them.

What is Row & Round?
Row & Round is a knitting and crochet app that keeps your place in a pattern. A highlighter bar sits on the row you’re working, and one tap on +1 moves the count and the bar together.
Which devices does Row & Round run on?
iPhone and iPad, with a counter on Apple Watch and a Live Activity on the Lock Screen.
Does Row & Round need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. Everything you add stays on your device.
Does Row & Round work with any PDF pattern?
Yes. It finds the text lines on the page, including on scanned pages, and puts the bar on one row. Charts and photos open as the plain page with the bar across them.
Is Row & Round a subscription?
No. You can start free, and a one-time unlock opens everything. There is no subscription.
Does Row & Round use AI?
No. Nothing is generated and nothing leaves your device. The line finding on scanned pages runs on the device itself.
